Tags help you organize your monitors into logical groups, making it easy to filter and manage large numbers of sites. Every new account comes with a set of default tags designed for common affiliate marketing workflows.
Default Tags
When you create your account, WebMon provides these starter tags:
| Tag | Color | Use Case |
|---|---|---|
| Landing Pages | ● Blue | Landers, presells, squeeze pages, and bridge pages |
| WordPress | ● Indigo | WordPress sites, blogs, and review sites |
| Offers | ● Green | Affiliate offer pages and network URLs |
| Tracking | ● Yellow | Tracking domains and redirect links |
| ● Purple | Autoresponder and email service provider domains | |
| Domains | ● Gray | General domain portfolio monitoring |
These are just starting points — you can rename, recolor, or delete any of them.
Creating and Managing Tags
- Go to Tags from the sidebar navigation
- Click "Create Tag" to add a new tag
- Give it a name and pick a color
- Click the edit or delete icons to manage existing tags
Assigning Tags to Monitors
You can assign tags when creating or editing a monitor:
- Open a monitor's settings (or create a new one)
- In the Tags field, select one or more tags
- Save the monitor
Filtering by Tag
On the Monitors page, use the tag filter dropdown to show only monitors with a specific tag. This is especially useful when you have dozens of monitors and need to quickly find a group — for example, all your WordPress sites or all your landing pages.
Tips
- A monitor can have multiple tags (e.g. both "WordPress" and "Landing Pages")
- Use colors to create a visual system — red for critical sites, green for stable ones
- Tags also appear on your dashboard and status pages for quick identification
- Deleting a tag removes it from all monitors but does not delete the monitors themselves
